Where to begin' First off, I lived in Eagles Landing Apartments for one and half year. My first experience resulted in THEIR maintenance man STEALING from me as I was unloading my belongings downstairs while I was bringing them upstairs. I then called the office right then and there to report it. Within 30 minutes, the SAME idiot who stole my goods (who was a new maintenance man) knew exactly where they were and re-delivered them to me after I spoke to their corporate about this incident. Oh, by the way, the only reason I got through to someone at corporate was because they were onsite in Austin while this happened. I mentioned this because you can NEVER get anyone to return your phone call or anyone at corporate answering your phone call. After that lovely incident, I learned that the leasing consultants (to put it nicely) went to the AUSTIN CONVENTION CENTER to recruit residents from KATRINA!!!!! These residents had NO money, lived off of the government from your and my money as the rest was subsidized, while I was paying full rent. I had a couple who was living underneath me who I later learned wasn't even paying rent but were friends of the leasing consultants whom were fighting every night and the travis county sherrif's office were there a lot. Secondly, after they got kicked out, a great pregnant crack addict lived there with her boyfriend''' whom was there every night and they had sooo much domestic abuse and glass shattering, etc. Korin, who came on board after everyone else got canned or left, was the only halfway intelligent one, but after hopes of her following through with things, I was thoroughly disappointed. I even gave them FOUR months to return my $300.00 pet deposit, or some of it, but of course, no phone calls even after I called NINE times. Look, this place is the furthest thing from getting QUALITY service. All they care about is praying that either a) the government pays eheir funded section 8 residents, or b) they just get by paying their own bills. Their entire parking lot is full of pot holes which they say they are after the concrete layers for repayment or liability. Well, FIX IT IN THE MEANTIME for you OWN DAMN rsidents, then get backpay... At end, I would say this was the worst place I have ever lived. Even when you are patient with people time and time again, and let them know you will take action due to their inaction, they DON'T CARE! Totally uneducated and just trying to get by with their inadequate means of service. I am so glad to be able to save someone from nightmares of being in this hell hole. Do your research, and believe me, this is soooo worth the $150.00 they would have given me back out of the $300.00 deposit. But, of course, it takes intelligence to realize this article will cost them MUCH more than $150.00. Some people learn the hard way. DON'T BE ONE OF THEM!!!!!
