Okay, my personal opinion - DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!

Pros:
-extremely close to UT, great location. You're literally 5 minutes from most everywhere in austin, East, West, North, or South. UT shuttle about half a mile west of the complex.
-Pet friendly
-Good restaurants in the area
-Residents are sweet people.
(THATS IT- SERIOUSLY!)

Cons:
-Terrible management. NOTHING GETS DONE EVER! In our apartment, if you try to take a shower and use the microwave, the lights throughout the apartment flicker on and off. We were told it's because we have a "weak braker." Nothing has been done about this, and it's been about a month. Also, our AC has to be controlled by turning the braker switch on/off. it doesn't regulate itself. Then, some temp guy came in and completely tore out our ac and we went without heat/ac for over a month. IT was during this very cold winter, and they gave us 2 space heaters to hold us over... thanks... They still haven't fixed our ac, electricity, ANYTHING, and it's been 5 months. Our pipes are really whacky and clog all the time.
-fake wood floors are terrible, very stained, and impossible to clean.
-TINY APARTMENTS. Definitely not 800sq ft as they say.
-Don't ever expect to take a hot shower. Water temp goes from warm to FREEZING while you're taking a 10 minute shower.
-TERRIBLE SECURITY!!! i don't feel safe taking my dog out at night, or even in the day for that matter. Since i've been here, my car has been broken into, my boyfriends car has been broken into, 2 other residents have had their cars broken into...and i'm sure there's been more than that. i've seen 2 bikes stolen from inside the complex. If you live here, your ---- WILL get stolen.
-There are crackheads EVERYWHERE. the complex next door...is pretty much crack central. If i would have known this before signing the lease, i would have run screaming.
-PAPER THIN WALLS. you hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing, and i mean everything.
-Complex looks terrible. Overgrowing grass, weeds, etc.


If you are thinking about moving here, please reconsider. We've only been here 5 months and would never think about resigning with this complex. It's cheap, but it really isn't worth it!!! Save yourself
