The new management is wonderful. The pool is beautiful and clean. The grounds are clean. I work from home so i am here all of the time and i love it. I have read some reviews from the past and i can say that they are not true...at least not anymore. I would recommend this apartment for anyone...especially if you are a student because it is right on the busline. The apartment is roomy. I have wood flooring, a very spacious closet, bedroom and living area.

Why do you care if it's on the bus line if you work from home? I disagree that it's quiet during the day. When I've tried to work from home the manager would yell outside my window and - even worse - the maintenance dude would smoke his cigarettes in front of an open window, wafting smoke into my place. It is anything but quiet at Eastside Commons.

this is obviously written by management - it is so obvious, even to someone who hasn't had the experience of living there. All of the positive reviews are over the top and very generic. take it for what you will that they write their own reviews to make themselves look good because tenants won't do it themselves.

Have you tried talking to the new manager? She's pretty cool. I guess i got lucky cause all i had to pay to move in was $99.00

mizzm2269, I believe you. Just like I believed that they wouldn't take my deposit. I fought with Eastside Commons for a year over my deposit. Had a copy of the check, the receipt from EC, as well as a signed letter from the Property Manager at the time stating that I was due back the $300 deposit. I never saw it. Thought about small claims court, but I just don't have any more time to waste on it. Guess they got what they wanted.

Don't believe reviews that are 100% positive about this place, they are blatant lies, and only meant to pump up their ratings. Eastside Commons is, and until the owner sells to another more responsible owner or gets his pants sued off of him, will always be a HELLHOLE!!!
