I got here when I was broke so I expected it to be fairly poor quality but this is ridiculous! Loud neighbors I can tolerate, crying children I can tolerate as well. They are apartmetns and single parents and college kids inhabbit them but its the bigger things that are just too annoying to take. The grounds are filthy, true they get cleaned but I still continually step on glass, food and god knows what else. The staff is unfreindly, which is too bad considering the old management were great people. The exercise facilities are in poor order with pieces missing from most of the equipment, stone age recumbent bikes and treadmills and most of the gym equipment's cables are frayed and dying, I sell crappy fitness equipment for a living so when I say this stuff is horrible you better believe I know what I am talking about. The only plus is the tennis court... That's about it. In the first four months of libving here my fiance's car was broken into. Within the next four weeks mine was broken into. I have, myslef, stopped to car jackings in the parking lot! I mean come on! We live right next to a damn police station! Edgecreek didn't do anything about it except tell me to be more careful and "don't alarm the neighbors". Yeah right, glass all over the ground isn't very alarming I guess. Recently my fiance locked her keys in the car along with her ID and had to hitch a ride to the apt complex to get them to let her into her apt to get the spare set of keys. She didn't have her ID so they wouldn't let her in. That is understandable but given the circumstances they should have at least accompanied her to the apt so that she could prove who she was. I ended up having to spend my lunch finding a way to get back to show them my id (3 hours later while my Fiance sat on the starewell waiting) so I could get in. When I asked if they would make a copy of our ids later the lady told us that it was our tough luck and that No she would do no such thing. If I wasn't already a poor student I would sue their pants off for damages and inconveniance. If you have the money I would go somewhere else although considering what I have heard Edgecreek is getting more expensive and still selling the same junk.
