I would strongly recommend La Paz or El Campo for graduate students who want a cheap and a good place to live with no disturbances and chaos that is usual in student apartments-so peaceful. I lived in this apartment for almost 7 years of my graduate school. The location is fabulous due its close proximity to UT, hospitals, HEB, Central Market, Wallgreens, good eating places, and bus routes (including #1, 5, and IF). The place is also close to residential area so wonderful to take a walk or jog, and enjoy the sourrounding with lots of greenery. The management is very friendly, helpful, and prompt in taking care of any problem in the apartment.
