You're not going to get much better than this near campus. The apartments are very spacious and have big windows. The front windows close fully with vertical blinds so there is no worry than people can see inside. There isn't much counter space in the kitchen, but I was able to cook every day without any problems. There is a large pool in the middle that is well-kept and cleaned regularly. The pool isn't used too often though... There is ample parking around the building and I never heard of any car break-ins. The only other issue that you would have to worry about is that the water temperature is VERY inconsistent. The place is old (60's). The water constantly shifts from scalding to freezing most of the time, but sometimes you catch that window opportunity when the water settles down. Eventually you get the hang of it and this is by no means a deal-breaker. The only reason I'm leaving is that they don't allow dogs. :( I didnt have any problems with the management, they pretty much leave you alone. The only maintenance issues I had were taken care of promptly.
