Although rent is cheaper than other apts in the area, it is made up by high electric costs and few options for high speed internet. Due to poor insulation, during the summer the electric bill was on average $130 a month, and that was with the ac kept around 75 degrees. Grande Communications is not avilible so you are stuck with over-priced Time Warner for cable internet. There is plenty of hot water, but almost no way to control it, so showers were never pleasent. The water jumps from ice cold to scalding hot frequently, I never had a shower that remained consistant within 50 degrees. There is no diswashers in the kitchen, and there are "mini" electric range/oven. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear talking next door or from outside. The management is helpful and when something broke they tried to fix it quickly, but I think it is better not to have had problems in the first place.
