I have roaches problem when I first moved in. Terrible! They are everywhere and I was irritated when I found out that they were running on clean dishes in my dishwasher. I suggested the manager to seal the gap in between my dishwasher and the wall (a thick layer of dust accumulated there too) since I suspected that is where they live but he ignored it. OK, he gave me the baits and now they are gone but it is so inconvenient to have the baits in the apartment when you have a pet.

Noise is a BIG problem. Perhaps like every apartment complex, the window like a piece of paper (I don't know why you need a window if it has no insulation propose). Since my bedroom is facing the back alley, I am constantly woken up by misc noise every night! Trash pick up truck comes 4am in the morning, people honking at the parking lot 6am--7am when pick up somebody at my apt complex everyday and ground keeper starts blowing dust at 7am (not nice for late night worker)! Fortunately, my neighbours aren't party type so it is quiet on friday night but without getting restful sleep every night. I can't wait to move out of this place!!

I moved here because of the cheap rent for an apt near UT campus. I will only recommend it if you are a deep sleeper and are willing to sleep in your couch 4 times a week.
