The staff at Escalon is a piece of work that should not represent the company because of their rude demeanor. Escalon does not like residents to move out and will basically do what they want to keep as much money as they can. When I went to speak to them about it, not only did they NOT explain why they kept my money, but they went out of their way to be an ass about the whole thing. When I walked out, another tenant informed me they were ripping her off too! Do you want to deal with people like that' You would be better off dealing with a black widow spider instead of the person who handles deposits or anyone in the rental office for that matter. She tries real hard at being a b**** who does not want to do her job. It would behoove them all to find another profession they MIGHT be good at.

I had the same experience when trying to move out of this complex. The staff was rude and even threatening (with things they would charge me with if I decided to move). This was AFTER bragging about how curtious the staff is at Escalon compared to other complexes in the area. I was extremely offended by the treatment I received as I have been an ideal tenant and disappointed in how uneducated the people who are running this joint are.

Nothing to brag about is not a good description of the staff...I can not believe how rude they are. ---- is a raging *****, excuse my language, but someone needs to fire her. I think her lousy attitude rubs off on the staff and that is why they are so rude. Anyway, what I really wanted to respond about was that I only got back $50 bucks of my $300 refundable deposit. When I went through the walk through I was only informed that I would be charged for not cleaning the oven...I was completely aware of this and it was done intentionally. When I looked over what they were billing me for, I could not clearly understand it. The bill is just all over the place and is not clearly ledgible. So, add me to the list of ex-residents who have been scammed by this horrible apartment.

Yeah, and don't forget how they intentionally tell you not to clean your carpet because they are charging you $25 for it anyway. They basically kept my deposit to replace the carpet... to hell with cleaning it! They are just outright wrong!!!
