I lived at the Escalon for 2 years from Nov. 2004-Nov.2006. Early on....for about the first 6 months, things were great. That's when they had fresh cookies in the leasing office daily, and also had a water cooler in the workout room. Things starting falling apart from there. First of all, I had a roof leak from hell. It wasn't until about the 4th try did they manage to fix the darn thing. In the mean time, I sustained some water damage to my entertainment center. Parking....well, even then it was atrocious. Garbage disposal bins were always overflowing. Of course, just before bought a home, someone gained access to my locked 3rd floor apartment outside storage area and stole a set of tires and chrome rims for my BMW....I still say that was an inside job!.
At any rate, they wanted to raise my rent from $685.00 to $730.00 and I couldn't justtify paying that much money to live there any longer. I've since purchased a great little 3BR 2Ba home in Round Rock, and my monthly mortgage note is $483.70 a month......forever!! (Or at least as long as I will be living there!!)
So, if conditions have deteriorated at Escalon since I've been gone, I can only offer the residents my sympathy.

I'm not surprised you had stuff stolen - just look at the people they employ here. The biggest problem here is the trash, and I aint just talking about the compactor.
