Not a bad place, be reasonable...

I've lived at the Escalon for 3 years, although I have seen a decline in the quality of tenants (i.e. loud music and kids trashing the gym) I've never had a problem that wasn't solved. As for the non-english speaking management I can't say I've ever met any of the office staff that the other reviewers are speaking of. Everyone there is easy to communicate with and has handled complaints promptly. As for maintenance I haven't come across something they couldn't be fixed, and people lets be real in ANY complex in Austin you'll have to wait to get things fixed... The key is to not sit on it until it's unbareable, contact maintenance at first sign of a problem. In conclusion just because it's North Austin doesn't mean your going to be free of the normal hassles of living in an apartment. And if you think this is bad trying living at Woodward and I-35 for a year, you'll appreciate The Escalon loads more.

So what this MANAGEMENT REVIEW is saying is, it's better than living in the ghetto. Thanks, we get it.
