Avoid this place...

Been renting here on and off for 3 years.
Was once happy with place, but have quickly become disgusted.
I lived here for about a year and moved away b/c of work.
Came back to new management and a new view of this place.
Pros: Location and maintenance crew.
Cons: Constant turnover in Management.
Amenities don't work.
Parking is horrible.
One trash compactor that is always backed up.
You're told you'll get a referral fee for friends, but we've been stiffed on that twice.
Can never get in touch with Corporate to resolve the problem.
My vehicle was recently towed b/c my back tire was parked on the curb.
I have a newborn, and he was screaming to high heaven.
I raced upstairs to feed him and in the meantime my rear tire of my truck was up on the curb.
No warning or anything, and I was towed.
It cost me $200 to get it back, and management didn't seem to care.
Kind of strange since Christmas is a week away.
Aside from Christy and Amanda, management is awful.
Not only will I never rent from here again, but I'll tell everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague.

Pretty accurate review. The ONLY good thing is that Lake Travis Middle and High Schools are within walking distance. Otherwise, the management is about as cold-hearted as they come - just unbelieveable that they would tow someone's car a week before Christmas like that.
And the problem with them stiffing tenants on referrals is well-known. Do NOT trust the front office staff, get everything in writing and get a receipt for your rent. Do NOT use the rent drop off box. They'll lose it and then charge you outrageous late fees.
They also charge you an extra $100 per month per vehicle for parking, something they don't tell you when they show you around the complex.
It's a ripoff.

The management now is new and better. They have received most improved awards. I wouldn't let this review sway you for renting here today. As far as not trusting the office staff... you should always get and put everything in writing. Never forget this is a business relationship and should be treated accordingly, I don't care where you rent this rule applies. Parking is free unless you have a contract for an assigned covered space or garage. If you were charged for random parking then you should take the time to sue but I doubt you did. Neither of these reviews sound like accurate reports of events. This complex does not tow without warning but my first question is why did that person feel the need to park on the curb in the first place knowingly violating one of the property parking codes? We all sign leases at our complexes now we need to read them.
