Read rude responses from the Falls on Bull Creek staff here!

The apartment complex has been without water for 4 days this past week and countless times this year. Other reviews have cited 8 or 9 times without water this year alone and that is a pretty accurate account. Residents are legitimately upset by this and therefore posting their grievances on this website. I find the audacity of some the responses to these reviews simply incredulous.
Some of the responses to the complaints of not having access to water has been as rude as "shut your stinky butt up" which is simply outlandish to me. I can't believe that a typical resident would be scouring this website to add insult to injury by posting such things. Again, 4 days without water is a legitimate complaint!!! Only a frustrated staff member would do such a thing...
I also read some responses where concerned residents were trying to helpful by suggesting to call the Austin Tenants' Council (Sadly, I don't believe that will do much good). I find it amusing that other people responded with "If you don't like it here, then you can take your hostility & move!" Seriously, that is your advice' To pack up & move' I hate to break it to you, but a lease is a binding contract and one that is hard to break. I'm sure after going 4 days without water, people would love to just pack up their things & move out but unfortunately, people can't and aren't willing to sacrifice their credit over breaking a lease especially in these economic hardships. For those of you that suggested breaking a lease to resolve the issue of 4 days without water, do you realize that tenants are required to pay the full lease even if they break it' Where is the sense in suggesting to break a lease under those terms' Obviously you're ok with having bad credit or can afford double rent... Either way, not very sound, rational or helpful advice. If you're ok with going this long without water then great, but don't insult or mock other people over a legitimate concern... Your insensitivity to the situation is exactly why people are assuming you're a staff member and not a true resident.
I also read a suggestion for people to call on friends or family to take showers as if this were no big deal. While this may be seemingly so, some people are new to the area & don't have anyone in which they can call. I know that I've tried calling several people, but because my friends WORK & have families, it has not been as easy to secure a shower or use other's toiletries as it may seem. I also don't think I should have to burden friends or family about staying with them for an undetermined amount of time because the amenities that I pay for here are CONSISTENTLY not available to me.
For those of you that really want to have your legitimate complaints heard, I suggest calling the local news station. If enough people call in, they will do a story! I called a local news channel & they picked up right away. Not only that, but they had already heard the complaint & quoted the name of the complex to me without me first giving the name to them. They mentioned that they were going to discuss the situation during their editorial meeting this afternoon so get to calling! I say exploit this apartment & they're foul attitudes!
Here are some of the responses I believe to be from staff members as (again) anyone who has gone without water for 4 days & countless times this year would not be so insensitive or spend the time trolling the review board to post such mean hearted responses:

Like whoa. CB, (not directed at naeday17) after reading a few posts on here, it seems as though every time someone has a different point of view than you do, you attack them or accuse them of working there. I understand you are mad and have every right to be. But don't direct it at the wrong people. If you doubt my residency, email me and we can meet for a cup of Starbuck's Mocha, but only if you're paying! ;-) Or you can catch me by the mailboxes coming in from work usually around 6:00-6:30pm T-Fr. I'm not too sure why you are so disrespectful towards me or what I do for a living, but I am in the same boat as you. And NEWSFLASH: although I am in the Army, YES, I pay rent too. You unfortunately missed my whole point. That said; if you are so unhappy, why don't you take your attitude (which is not helping the situation) and your hostility somewhere else and move out and keep calling that Austin Tenant's Council number' It is your choice and you have every right to go. So GO. And if you want anyone to take you seriously, stop posting anonymous.

When a pipe breaks it happens suddenly therefore nobody knows or can prevent what's about to happen. The Office staff cannot foresee the future to send out notices. I feel bad for you, but like the other person said ''you just have to patient or if you don''t like your current situation Move out.'' Unfortunately these people don''t have control over the pipes. He had a really dry summer and that''s what''s affecting the pipes. This happens every where. I think that you have to educate yourself a little bite and stop blaming the office or maintenance staff.

You should be investing your time and energy in finding a plece to take a shower, maybe that will help you to get rid of all the anger that you stinky people have... Remember life is to short to be mad over this silly situation there are people in this world without drinking water nor less to take showers. You should feel bless that you can go to the store and get water or call a friend and asked them to let you take a shower at their place..

Thank you, naeday17. If only CB could express herself without being disrespectful to other reviewers just because they have a different point of view, perhaps we could have had a more productive discussion. And as far as "trolling", its more so apartmentratings.com sends you an email whenever someone comments on your comment. I only originally came on here to express how I feel about where I live because CB had printed out and posted her review at the mailboxes, encouraging everyone else to do the same... I was like, wow, really? So when I made my initial review, I never attacked anyone or disrespected anyone. I was attempting to accomplish some sort of cohesion for all of us residents. But that doesn't seem to be very popular to CB according to all of her "Anonymous" posts.

thanks so much for this post. i know that some of us in our heat of the moment display might not have posted quite an eloquent a speech. but your points are correct and valid and i believe a good display of how the MAJORITY of us really feel. i have had numerous people contact me and ask what we can do and i too have called the local stations. 4 of them to be exact and yesterday one emailed me and said they passed it along to a reporter who was interested in running the story and the BBB has contacted me as well to confirm the complaint and requests. it really is sad we are having to resort to posting these concerns online or calling the TAA or AAA or news stations to get anything done. i'm not saying its the staff's fault but when prodded for answers they have none, or exclaim its up to corporate, if they don't have the authority then we have to try and seek answers from those above them. so hopefully all this exposure will reach the masses. i'm not trying to get this place shut down (i'm locked in until May) but hopefully giving them a nudge in the right direction of appropriate action should we incur this situtaion AGAIN. i believe our concerns and requests are validated by the numerous responses and other online feedback we are getting. it is our right and obligation to not sit back and let indifference take control until we no longer have a voice at all. so while many are venting, griping, attacking, insulting, and blaming others, let's not forget the reason for all of this in the first place. we are just common tenants that are not having our common needs met and as outlined in the texas rentals laws. and it is happening enough to cause this many people to be outraged. i mean its not like we did this after it broke the first few times. but twice this week, it happened last month, and i know of at least 5 times prior in this calendar yr alone. i dont think it really matters if the staff is just going to troll the website and post SUPER positive reviews during these times. as a common tenant of common intelligence i can tell you that even i can identify the difference between BS and a legitamate review.

@Shestarr: I'm not the one that printed up a review and posted it at the mailboxes and this is the only review I've written... As a matter of fact, I wish I would have seen the review posted at the mailboxes as that is a great idea! Maybe I should do the same!
Again, I am not this CB you keep referring to! Although I have read this supposed CB's review, I don't know what you found so rude in their response either... Because they suggested people call the Austin Tenants' Council (Though that matters not)? Because they weren't ok with going 4 days without water? Give me a break! They weren't criticizing you for being in the Army... They were simply referencing what you said about having been trained to endure such harsh conditions in the military and that being without water for four days was really no big deal... All they did was disagree with your comment by simply stating that they weren't trained to endure such conditions and felt that they shouldn't have to pay rent to live in such a crude standard. How does that comment attack you personally or your chosen career? Oh yeah, it doesn't! Look, if you've found what I've said or this supposed "CB" said to be offensive in any way, well then you are obviously hyper sensitive and too emotionally involved with the negative reviews being posted on this website so should probably invest your energy elsewhere as your comments are getting nowhere with me or the other "real" reviewers.
There are obviously plenty of people here who were and are still upset by the constant "no water" situation so you should probably stop chalking up all these negative reviews to one or two people. You keep calling me rude for assuming your review was written by apartment staff, but I don't understand how you can logically rationalize someone as being rude simply for saying "you probably work for the complex"... Honestly, what's so rude about that??? Especially since you think it's so great here (no water and all), I would think you would take someone assuming you were staff as a compliment!
I also think its funny that you edited and rewrote your original response to me here. For those of you that missed it, please allow me to recap. Shestarr basically said that "now my credibility was really shot because I am supposedly rude and a liar for assuming Shestarr was staff because he's not really staff. That because he is posting his screen name, he has nothing to hide yet I do because I insist on posting anonymous"... Oh, and he referred to me as this CB person yet again - Hahaha! Yes, absolutely hilarious and illogical, I know. As if posting your screen name makes you anymore legitimate in your review.
Shestarr, according to your train of thought, I guess I can now call you rude and a liar for assuming that I am the one writing all the negative reviews (when I've only written one!) and for posting reviews at the mailbox (which I did not)! According to your train of thought, I guess I can now call you rude and a liar for assuming I am a girl! ROFL!
Your lack of critical thinking skills is really becoming amusing at this point. You keep telling all the negative reviewers that they should be investing their time in something more fruitful than writing negative reviews about not having water or that they should simply break their lease and move out because their bad attitude and hostility is not helping the situation... Well, i think it's about time you heed your own advice.
