LOVED my apartment and HATED my a/c bill.

I loved this apartment. I never found anything like it since. It had amazing skylights, an awesome fireplace and a gorgeous view of the hills down Hwy 360. I loved the pool. I loved the treehouse office which had nice staff. It was clean and bright and I loved the arrangement- the kitchen was in the middle which made it feel open. The washer and dryer connections were down a s-shaped hallway that was artistic and neat. BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT. My electricity was soooo high. OMG. It nearly broke me. Even in the winter it was always over $150. In the summer, good grief, I got a bill for $400!!!! For a one bedroom, one bath!!! I wanted to cry every month and I had to stay with my sister-in-law for two weeks when I went behind in my electric bills and COA turned me off (I was $600 in the hole with them). In 3 months, I paid $1400 for electric. The apartment was a good price but ****. The electric made it so much higher. I had been paying almost $700 for the apartment than another $200-300 for the utilities on average. If they fix this problem (insulation, roof, I have no idea) than it's a marvelous place to live. FYI, this was a few years back however, my friend still lives there and reports the same problem. Just a warning to ask about this before you move in.
