Not great, but not horrible either

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2000
 
Close to UT (if you bike), and close to MiMadres (Austin's BEST breakfast tacos), French Place is fine for students. Lived there several years ago. Relatively safe, although there were some creepy neighbors. Mangement was friendly and took care of maintance requests quickly. The apts themselves are a bit drab. Painted panel, old fixtures, old carpet.
