great exp at gables grandview From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/20/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I lived there for a short period durring this summer but really liked it for the price. Was only $865 for one bedroom on middle floor with a hill country view and covered assigned parking right next to unit. I agree the long long address is not easy for some people but really not that much of a problem. I did hear some noises from people walking up and down the stairs once in a while but nothing that would stop me from living there again. People have to remember that these places (like most)were built as apartments and not condo's or townhomes. You are going to hear neighbors from time to time. I did not live there durring the winter when ice could be a problem for that long hilly drive. I agree with some of the posts that for a place that has a 100k infinity edge incredible pool and yet no hot tub is strange. But I knew this going into the place. I asked when I was getting the tour. I had a few issues with the apartment and the staff were great. My freezer stopped working on a sunday and monday morning the guy came out and swapped out a part. They even offered to re-imburse me for any food loss. The repairman came out 3 more time's just to check on the fridge. They added a cieling fan for me in the living room for $25 dollars the day after I called. I Loved the gym and pool. I used the fax in the office several times and always had great service. I agree parking for guests is a challenge on weeknights but I knew that going in, no matter what they say when you are looking at the place. I expected that and dealt with it. I would say overall for the price and for a apartment it was a great experience. I only moved because I bought a home otherwise I would of stayed there for a lot longer as long as the rent was reasonable.
