Terrible Management with Crooks- DO NOT LIVE HERE

The apartment and the amenities are very nice. Unfortunately, the rotten management are money hungry and crooks. They charge for every little incidence and sometimes with little cause or no cause. They break the rules when it is for their benefit yet deny to break the same rules when it comes to the tenant. For instance, I was able to get a covered parking space for me and my roommate. My roommate left the apartment and I extended the lease (they broke a rule of extension) yet after realizing they extended the extra parking space I did not need, I wanted to cancel it. They refused and said all signers of the lease need to be present to cancel. This is not about the money (it's only 35/month) but rather principal and shows that the management does not care about the tenants- they only care about one thing-MONEY!
I highly do not recommend Gables to anyone. The scenic views are nice, but the management sours everything positive.

Yes, I would have to completely agree. I watched on more than one occasion a member of the staff walk around with a dog carrying a plastic bag only to let the dog use the bathroom right outside my apt and not bother to pick up after the pet.
Don't live by the pool either unless you enjoy parties just about every evening and guaranteed every weekend.
The place has turned into a huge college party. If that is your thing, then more power to you but for those of you looking for a nice, upscale place to live, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
