I have lived in this complex for years and am finally moving out. Would I recommend it' In a word, no. It does have quick access to downtown, Westlake and Barton Creek Mall, but location is the only benefit. The Gables REIT is unashamedly all about making money from you. They have fees seemingly for everything. They will raise your rent to "market" at every renewal and try to come off as a "great service" company. Ha! Parking is absolutely atrocious UNLESS...you pay for a spot or garage. Most of residents seem like UT students, so, naturally, noise can be high, pool can be a mess and rare parking spots around your building are usually filled by visitors.
