I lived on campus through college, and if you want to know what getting fined for everything, no parking, having horrible maint. and awful neighbors is like, I beg you, live in West Campus.

BUT with that being said, the parking situation is pretty horrible at Gables. I feel safe walking at night there, but that's probably cause I grew up in the area. I leave parties/restaurants/outings with friends EARLY just to try and get a spot near my building, but I always find a spot so that's positive.

Side to side, I NEVER hear my neighbors, and I live in the bedroom that shares a wall with one. My upstairs neighbor either stomps constantly or there is no insulation up and down.

The switch from Grande to Time Warner was terrible, but I believe they only did it cause people wanted DVR.

Other than that, the maint. has been awesome, the grounds beautiful, the common areas well kept. I haven't been charged for ANYTHING and we had a trash bag accidently placed outside our door for 1/2 a day.

The one down is if you pay for a spot, people park in it ALL THE TIME.
