I just moved out of these apartments at the end of May. Let me tell you the nightmare I'm having with the place. As a tenant the place was nice but over-priced and too small. I have a big apartment with less rent in central Austin. The scenry is nice but not worth the price. I lived there for a year and never had a pet nor had any pets at my apt. When I moved out they let the movers in without my permission. Doors were damaged but luckly they didn't charge me for that. However they are charging me for new carpet and pet treatment. The property manager said there was a pet odor and it went away when carpet was removed. Never mentioned anything about cleaning the carpet but said they had to removed it. Now let me remind you that I never had a pet so how could there have been an odor. And wouldn't people tell me that there was an odor when they came to visit...that would be because there wasn't one. When trying to talk to the management, they were vague and rude. Not willing to help at all. So once I figured that they weren't going to drop the charges I called to do payments and a promissary note to prevent this from going on my credit. Well...they only do them for 60 days. How does that help' So in 2 months it would go on my credit regardless of me making payments to them. Needless to say they are horrible. I would never recommend them to anyone. It's not worth the money for a small over-priced apartment nor the hassell when you move out. I recommend to everyone who lives there to do a walk through when they check everything. That way you will be with them and they can't screw you over.
