Lived here for about six months so far, and have to say...so far so good. Management has been really nice, every time I have a problem. I've called them for various things: replace lights, spray outside for wasp nest, fix the washer, etc. They come, and sometimes I have to wait a day, but it's still within 48 hours, and usually it's faster than that.
Once a week, they have a hired crew that comes to clean and do the landscape. They have their blowers, and it's loud, but it's 2pm in the afternoon, and not during crazy hours. And afterwards, it does look nicer. They blow the walkways, and clean up any leftover nasty poop lying around.
Yes, they don't pick up packages, and it kind of is a hassle. But I don't mind it much, since everything else here living wise is fine, and I just have the postman leave the package outside. So, it's not that bothersome. You can always have the postman leave package for you, or write down what time for him to come, and he usually is still here at 5 pm and on.
I haven't had any problems or nasty encounters with management, as someone else said earlier. The girl Johnetta, in the office is really nice. Also, Kevin in maintanence is nice too, and am especially thankful for him killing that wasp. I also haven't had any problems with them misadvertising, or misleading anyone, as some notorious apartment companies in Austin (hack*hack*MSR!).
We have bugs that enter in every now and then. I don't want my place sprayed, so I guess it's expected. It also happened at my other apartment at Steiner. But management is really nice....they even came within 5 minutes to kill a bug that freaked out my wife the other day.
As for the apartments itself, I hear they all vary...with some being more upgraded than others. Our cabinets are older, but the laminate floors are newer, bathroom fixtures are newer, and the carpet was new.
The complex is really quiet though. Surprisingly quiet. Once in awhile, I hear kids outside, but only for a few afternoon hours, and it's the ones that live nearby us. There's not like millions of kids running around outside, as I have seen at other apartments.
It's nearby the grocery store, and nearby a bus line, and close to the freeways too. I like this place. Our neighbor below is an angry nutcase, and I can hear him screaming at the top of his lungs, every couple times a month, but he is leaving (hallelujah!!). Yay.
All in all, life is good here. I haven't moved out yet, and so don't have my moving experience posted up yet, but I've lived at several different places, and this place has been good so far.

No I don't work at the office. I actually live here. Like I said, I haven't had any problems...what building do you live in? Today, I had a wasp problem again...somehow, a crazy wasp got into my apt, and Oscar was kind enough to come over and kill the wasp, and looked at the areas where pest control needs to spray outside. He's by far the nicest one I've dealt with in that office.
I just read someone's post about being charged for carpet replacement, but I haven't had that experience yet...duh...haven't moved out...but other than that, I really don't understand why people are hating on this place?? Just because they don't offer pick up of packages? Even if you owned your own home, that service wouldn't be available. The dog poop? Thankfully, it's not really a problem nearby our building, but again,...I guess I can't speak for all buildings. But we haven't had much of a problem with that, since there are dog pooping areas with the stands holding the poopie bags. This place is way better to live at, than say, Meritone at Steiner Ranch...omg...now, THAT PLACE is a freaking nightmare, charging for professional housekeeping fees, painting fees, etc. Anyhow, this isn't someone from the office, and I'm a real resident. I will write about my moving out experience too...when it happens. Anymore proof you need?
