I encourage anyone disappointed with the apartments and especially customer service to file a complaint at http://www.bbb.org especially those unfortunate ones who still have a lease... maybe something will change if you take action.
I don't even know where to begin with a list of problems I have encountered living at "Great" Hills. The office staff is great at smiling while telling you to "f*** off" at the same time. Double check everthing they do and say, ask for copies of everything, and do not trust anyone, especially on move-out!!! The dump apartments would have been bearalble if the staff was friendly but honestly the customer service is worse than the smelly apartments.

| Hello. I am the Property Manager of Great Hills and wanted to respond to this message posted by someone who recently moved out. The office is trained to deliver customer service with a smile no matter what the subject matter or how upset or mad the customer might be. We do have to stand by the lease and our rules, which benefits everyone. It ensures that everyone is treated the same and there is no special treatment for your neighbor but not you. We are always here to answer any questions you might have so you are not confused or surprised by the stipulations of your lease contract as this is what we refer to on a daily basis in doing business. We could not be in business or maintain the 97% occupancy we have if we were not trustworthy. Upon move out everyone receives instructions in addition to the opportunity to schedule a walk-through with our staff. Also, if we do come across anything during the walk-through we give that person the opportunity to address the problem before we charge them. We honestly value our residents. Without them, we would not be here. | |

I agree with the other post, the say f*&k you with a smile, they don't care about their residents at all. I have been inspired to contact BBB also and am looking forward to the day that my lease it up. They don't even care enough to send courtesy letters to warn you when a contractor is going to be continuously banging on the floor above you for three days.

Staff totally depends on who you go to. I had good experiences, until I met one of the ladies....very rude. I think she is the assistant manager?? Long brownish hair, young in her late 20's or early 30's. Don't know, but she was sarcastic to me, even when I was friendly to begin with. The blonde manager I have met, and she seems very friendly.

The blonde I believe is Lisa, she's ok as long as Kirsten, the property manager, isn't involved. She's sarcastic all right, downright rude. So I'm not the only person to notice the smile and f-ckoff attitude? WTH is that about? 97% occupancy...? sure, because austin is growing rapidly and the north side is nice, people need somewhere to live.
"We honestly value our residents." LOL. You value your contracts, corporate mafia woman. Why don't you go remove that stupid sign off the front lawn that says "Superior Customer Service?"

To respond to the post from the Property Manager.... Seriously! Give me a break! Yes, I can see how you treat everybody the same, because we all get the same CRAPPY treatment when we move out. We all get charged for carpet replacement because you come up with random stains - usually "pet stains" (even for those without pets) - so that you can get new carpets for the new residents on our dime. And what B.S. about "you can schedule a walk-through with our staff" - yeah, I tried that but I kept being told the staff was too busy and they couldn't do it. I was moving out of town and couldn't stick around paying for a hotel room waiting for them to be less busy and do a walk-through of my apartment. So I got stuck paying almost $600 for new carpets because they claimed there were stains. I have no way of proving which apartment those pictures came from. They make most of their profits from the move-outs because they make sure to collect enough money, above and beyond your deposit, so that they can do make-ready of the apartments without it costing them anything. When this place was owned by Amli we didn't have these problems. Now it's a hell hole. DON'T MOVE THERE!!!!!!
