I have been living at Great Hills for almost one year now and have four other friends who also live there. I was lucky enough to find a house for this fall, but I had intended to stay at Great Hills before the house became available and I would (and have) recommended it to many friends. The neighborhood is fantastic! There are tons of people who run and bike frequently around here and are very friendly. And one of the best perks due to the cost of gas now is that it's only one block from the bus stop which has plenty of parking if you want to drive to the bus, but it's also a pleasant walk in the morning and evenings.

Although, no apartment is perfect, I had a really great experience living here and it was mainly due to the office staff. They are very attentive and take all comments and requests seriously. Since the complex is smaller, the office staff get to know the residents and usually recognize me as soon as I walk in the door. Every time that I have had a maintenance request, it has been taken care of completely and promptly.

I know some other comments talk about all of the bugs and wildlife and seem to think that it is a problem, but I have never had a problem with bugs in my apartment. Yes, there are a lot of bugs outside, but this should be very obvious to you when you see how many trees there are surrounding the complex. I personally love all of the trees because it provides some shade and cool spots to sit in during the summer.

Additionally, I feel completely safe entering my apartment at any time, even at night. It feels very safe here, again I think it's due to the small size and, therefore, you get to know your neighbors - even if you don't talk to them, you recognize them. This was a big concern of my due to past experiences living in other apartment communities and I know it is a concern for many college females, but I have always felt safe here. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

This guy has to be fake... who signs in as TXstudent? seriously... Also I dont know anyone who has the time to write such an extensive review. If you are real then might I ask what building you live in so I can come and make sure you are living in the same piece of ---- I am.
