i lived here from 2005-late2006 and i really enjoyed my time there!! everytime i ran into another renter they were always so kind and friendly. Never had a problem with noise from the upstairs neighbor or next door. Office staff there turned over often so i never really got to know any of them to judge whether they were rude or not. none of them were overly friendly but none were mean or antying like that. maintenance was always friendly and fairly quick. i got lucky because when we moved in we got brand new black appliances and the tenant before we lived there was too lazy to move his wahser and dryer out so we got those for free too.

2 other really awesome points about this place are the location (i know the "COOL" place to live is central and i do agree but the arboretum has a soft spot in my heart haha lame but true) it's close to everything! h-e-b, barnes and noble, restraurants, 2 movie theaters (not as cool as alamo but at least theyre clean and nice), arboretum shopping, best buy and whole foods, not to mention the lovely nature views (ahha okay that was super cheesy but its truuuee) my mom came to visit once and we saw fireflies and deer. it was always nice seeing deer outside of your patio and in the parkign lot at random times (be careful about hitting them with your car, obviously and also the deer try to eat the trash in the dumpsters so be aware of that as well)

a couple of bad points are you will see bugs not a lot but you'll see WEIRD bugs. like really long legged spiders or worms with like 50 legs and see through neon creatures and last time i saw the laundry facility it was beyond disgusting, no joke, it was horrendous....i had to move out in '06 thanks to the DELLvil and now that iw ant to move back to austin i was interested in moving back here. when i lived here a one bedroom with no dining are was 565. anynoe know how much a 1 or 2 bedroom is now in 09'
