It is 5:03 am and I am awake because a crazy raccoon lives in our ceiling. Usually, it just scratches around and makes little noises, but this time it seems as if it is screaming. We've called maintainance at least 5 times regarding this issue. Not only did they tell us that pest control only comes out on Thursday (which feels great when it is the weekend and you can't sleep because there is a loud raccoon in your ceiling), they sent three different putzes from ABC Pest Control who said there was nothing they could do about it. I am now just going to call a specialist myself and foot the bill on them. It is horrible to deal with and has only contributed to our decision to buy a house. So if you want a decent apartment with a competent staff, go somewhere else, I suppose. If you want enough aggrevation to motivate you to buy your own house, rent at Gables Great Hills.
