I have lived at Grove Place since they opened. The management is very friendly right up until you write them a check and sign the lease. Then they dont want to know you. And anything they said would apply suddenly does not. The written and verbal do not match. They are total idiots, screwing up just about every document or maintenance request. They do, however, stay on friendly terms with your apartment - not you, but just your apartment. I have never lived in a complex with so much management harassment or entry to my apartment while I was gone. There is some notice or other on the door at least once or twice a week. Evictions are frequent for minimal "infractions". Their overall attitude seems to be that they like signing more than they like fulfilling the contract. Buildings look nice but are constantly loud from neighbors, wind, "maintenance" and management "projects". Dont expect to sleep. The security is non-existent and the gates are constantly open during the day and being vandalized all night. If you are unlucky enough to get a unit near a gate you will also hear the late night honking of people who can't get in. This is the most disappointing apartment experience I have ever had. They are all hype and no delivery.

You should appreciate a management staff that wants to put the property in order. I have lived here for 1 year and a half and i have enjoyed my experience. If you are so unhappy you should leave and let someone who will enjoy a wonderful place as this.

I understand the aggravation of the management - all they care about is getting money and kicking back in the office instead of checking the place out and seeing what is actually going on. On one occassion when I went down to speak to the manager she was busy bragging about having breast implants done on herself.
