Hardrock Canyon Apartments

Great Place -- Until You Move Out From: hautlipz Date posted: 12/30/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   We lived at Hardrock for two very nice years. The apartment and grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Management was friendly and attentive, until... ...we moved out. Out of $600 we paid in move-in fees, we got $200 back. We were charged for replacing the carpeting, which was damaged by a leak in a hot water pipe after maintenance fixed our heating, and then by the subsequent "repairs" done by their carpet people. Management is blaming our cat for the damage, but at least agreed to split the cost of the damage. Pet owners: beware that you will likely not get your deposit back. You are required to pay a $200 non-refundable fee, which we thought went towards repairs. It's just a "fee." For NOTHING. You are also charged a $250 "refundable" pet fee, plus a standard damage deposit. If you do not mind losing a few hundred dollars in deposits, then I can recommend this complex. Otherwise, try to find a complex that is not so greedy about keeping your deposit.
