I am the director of marketing for a company here and only wanted to live here for a year while I look for a house..well, I'm hear to tell you management is lacking the ability to state they could have made a mistake which is the first rule in customer service- and it's like they are geared for a fight- they must have some pretty shady residents to assume everyone is a liar or not trust-worthy, LIGHTING at this complex is terrible- especially in Phase II. My window was shattered in my car and stereo stolen- police said they get lots of calls for this complex and others around here. The same night, a guy just down the way was broken into the same way and when I reported it to mgmt they honestly became so defensive- they made me feel like I CAUSED IT! A month later when I was walking my dog a saw remnants of another car break in- shattered glass all over and it was just down the way from me AGAIN...we were never given any type of note to remind us to be safe even though mgmt told me they would. Cheap rent to me now means risky living conditions- BEWARE..buying my house sooner than anticipated - who cares about the $400 re-letting fee, it's nothing compared to the cost of repairing my car and replacing my stereo, not to mention feeling like crap everytime you talk to mgmt.

First of all, you can NOT sublet your lease out at Hardrock Canyon. Secondly, I have lived here almost a year, as well as my friend, and we've left our cars unlocked numerous times. If someone wants to break into your car, they will and it does NOT matter where you live! The cost of repairing your car AND replacing your stereo should be no more than $250.00 if you have insurance as that is what insurance is for....I have NEVER had management speak rude to me OR to my friend since we've lived here in two separate units. This is a GREAT place to live and only people that would have trouble ANYWHERE they leased would get on here to -----.

I believe what you stated, and will not consider moving here. Glad I heard about apartmentratings.com or I wouldn't of known. Thanks.

Telling me you can't sublet your lease makes me even more scared to move here. If I hate it or decide to buy a house, I'm screwed?
