Hardrock Canyon Apartments

Great place.....bumps along the way but new management offers hope. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/22/2006 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2006   I lived at HardRock for over 5 yrs. In that time, I loved it. The maintenance staff is awesome. The place is always clean and it makes me proud to invite colleagues to my apartment. They always comment on what a great place this is....kudos to the maintenance staff for that. Not long ago, my rent was increased to match the current market prices and unfortunately the management was unsympathetic to me when I asked if they could take the sting out of the huge rent increase. I tried to work with management to let them know that I would have to move out but that I wanted to stay in what is a great community. They were still very unsymathetic. Well, since then, HardRock was taken over by JPI and let me tell you, the new manager and the office staff offer hope and kindness to a what was a dismal time. I love this place and am willing to be a lifelong resident....or at least call HardRock home. The new management team was willing to work with me and ensure that I would feel "at home" here at HardRock Canyon. I feel confident that the new manager and the current office staff,who have already laid a strong foundation to this community, will make sure that they do their best to make this place be the best that they can. They are willing to listen......something that I know, after reading many reviews from other apartment communities, is a luxury and one the best ammenities any apartment complex could ever offer. Now I know this may sound sappy and unrealistic....but there is a reason that HardRock Canyon continues to be a high end community. I truly thought that I was ready to move out at the end of the lease. I went to visit many many other complexes and even got a locator to help me out; he is definitely not happy that the HardRock new management was willing to work with me. In fact, he told me he knows that the management wouldn't work with me. I am happy to report, he was wrong.
