I have lived in this complex since Feb 06, and loved it. I referred several friends here, because for the location space and price, there really wasn't a better deal. But then the management changed (see previous reviews). I couldn't agree more with them. Since the switch over the general upkeep of the complex has fallen by the wayside. If tenants don't water our courtyard plants, they don't get watered.

If maintenance requests aren't submitted in writing and then harped on, it's a slim to nil chance they'll ever get taken care of. The gutters are in disrepair to the point that every time it rains I get water inside my door, and get completely soaked if I open my door, and I'm not the only one with this problem. Every time I bring it up, I'm told they're looking into it, but I have yet to see any real attempt at action.

It is an old building, yet the management seems surprised by our basic maintenance requests. There have even been bad boards removed from the siding, which have yet to be replaced (at least 4 weeks later at this point). In fact, there is a bench next to the leasing office that has been half painted for at least 2 months.

But all this aside, my BIGGEST complaint is the general attitude of the management. Pain to deal with is a complete understatement. If there had been an option below for 0 stars, you can bet that's what I would have chosen. They have gone out of their way to make things difficult. They have lost at least 2 sets of documentation (one being a rent check), and in both cases they refuse to take responsibility for their complete inability to maintain proper records. When I have asked about it, I am treated with hostility, as if am a delinquent despite a good solid payment history, and the longevity of my residence here. Any time I have spoken with management, I am generally spoken down to, and treated as a nuisance.

I am out of here as SOON as possible, and there is nothing anyone could do at this point to make me change my mind. This place is turning into a slum through sheer negligence, and I'm not sticking around for it.
