Look.... The truth about the property is it's cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Since current management took over, I wouldn't recommend Hidden Timber to anyone (regardless of the price). Most people living there are looking to leave.

What to expect if you live there:

They only take care of the landscape at the front of the complex, so if you live toward the back-you'll be in dreary mudsville.

They got rid of several trash cans-to be cheap-so you see trash cans filled and trash all over the parking lot most the time.

If you have a problem in your apartment, you can wait up to 6 months (or longer) for it to finally be fixed right (dealing with all kinds of excuses and incompetence along the way).

Maintenance does enter apartments without prior notice and without leaving note. They have been known to break possessions and deny it.

The manager is a hard*ss who loves to charge fees on top of fees for everything regardless of the circumstance or fault, so don't expect management to work with you or be flexible.

The manager also has family members living in the complex paying substantially less than other tenants.

As far as safety, there is none. Cars/apartments broken into... Police called out on regular basis for domestic violence... Drug/psycho tenants. Managements stance is, Call the police. They don't care and don't want to be bothered.

Ask an apartment locator. They rate this property the lowest grade available. Hidden Timber tries to solicit apartment locators by saying they offer residency to criminals and lease breakers.

Everything mentioned is the absolute truth. If you can live with that... then you should live at Hidden Timber. Good luck!

I completely agree. This place has seen better days and it's a shame that it has fallen into such disrepair considering its good location. It could be made into a gem of a complex, but I doubt it since the owners won't even water the grass(or in this case, the dirt). I no longer feel safe here, can not tolerate the noisy and inconsiderate residents, can not stand the lack of maintenance, and I will be leaving soon when my lease is up.
