Whoa boy. Moments after pulling up to the office on my beloved motorbike, I turn around just in time to see an out of control golf cart smash into the back of it then precede to hit the side of a truck. What was the management's first words to me' Not "I'm so sorry". They were, "I need to see your proof on insurance". My proof of insurance' I wasn't even on the bike. Well a day or two later(after for whatever reason I produced proof to them). I get called into the office to discuss the matter. "We do not want to go through our insurance, we'll just settle the matter ourselves." So whatever, not being wiser and stupidly trusting them I agreed. Since it wasn't through the insurance, they wouldn't pay to have my bike towed to a shop. In fact my bike sat there all beat up in front of the office for a month because they REFUSED to tow it to a shop even though I stated I didn't have the extra funds because I worked for a volunteer organization. Finally I scrape up enough, get it to a shop, and guess what' it sat at the shop for five months(through the entire riding season) because they thought the repair price estimate was too high and WOULD NOT PAY. They even had the gall to tell me to have it towed to another shop for another estimate... AT MY EXPENSE. Well after several phone calls(most of which weren't returned) and several times reminding the management that it's against the law to withhold insurance info, I got their information and had it settled, quickly, and for far more than I had originally asked from them(yes that's right, "more". If I was asking too much, how come their own insurance company didn't see it that way' Because they were trying to weasel out of a fair payment, that's why). I also had several problems in the kitchen, including a partially working stove and a fridge that was so loud that it woke me up several nights with grinding noises. Guess what' I had to send a certified letter just to get that fixed. Worst experience EVER! On the upside, I've never been that gullible again

Wait a minute. Why did you just write this silly story in the first place? What does it have to do with living here? This site is for people to write about their places and how they feel about the place as a whole. You wasted my time reading this silly little story about how you feel you got screwed. At least you ended it on a good note by saying you learned something. Oh yeah, and why did you give an overall rating so low when all you talked about was the "big bad" office?

Guess what there are new owners now!!! You are not even talking about the same company. These people have nothing to do with your problem. You wasted my time too! Its been 4 years and you are still writing on this site. Not helpful at all.
