I lived here for a year and have to say that I can recommend this to no one. I thought that I was fortunate to get one of the refurbished units with a vaulted ceiling and expanded bedroom. The ten foot ceiling made the temperature absolutely impossible to control in the room. The same is true for the large windows in the bedroom. No one will ever know the full definition of drafty until he or she sleeps in a High Oaks apartment through a cold night. The office lost more than one package that was sent to them and the pool was always nasty during the summer. On top of all of that, the oaks after which the complex are named make the parking lot treacherous during the Fall. I almost slipped and fell numerous times because of the acorns that litered the parking lot. Again- I would recommend that if you are looking for an apartment whose price is justified, then I suggest you look elsewhere.
