I've lived here since 2000. I've written some unfavorable reviews that centered around new management and lack of communication, concern and consistency.
As of earlier this year, I've had few complaints. And most have been resolved.
However, now noise has become a big issue, especially people returning home after 2:00 a.m., slamming doors, stomping, yelling, throwing things at the wall that adjoins my bedroom. Little action has been taken except for a rather anemic note about noise that really doesn't emphasize that this behavior is unacceptable. I am questioning whether a tenant who consistently exhibits this type of behavior would care about the note unless he/she knew it would directly affect them and their lease.
And the grounds are not well kept (except for the public areas). The once grassy area behind our building is now littered with trash and almost a year's collection of leaves. Perhaps management thinks it's not important that tenants have a good view, not just potential tenants.
And there seem to be absolutely no efforts to go green in a city that is making strides toward ecological consciousness. There are only two recycling bins, one for paper and one for glass and aluminum for the entire complex. Needless to say, these fill up fast after they are emptied as more and more tenants make a conscious effort to recycle.
Other than these issues, I find management congenial and maintenance prompt and courteous.
I'm still not sure I'd recommend this complex to anyone. After all, not being able to count on a quiet night for sleep is a serious consideration.
