TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE

The absolute worst place I have ever lived in, period. Maintenance is a joke, they don't care about anything after you sign the papers. I had to deal with a roach problem for 2 months before they were finally gotten rid of, by the exterminator I paid $145 for.

I had an order put in to have my air conditioning checked and specifically told them to call me before hand. I came outside of my bedroom half dressed to someone standing in my apartment! This place is a terrible place to live and I hope people do some serious consideration and read these reviews before moving in.

I live in High Oaks and looking forward to finding a new place to live at the end of my lease. I put all of the issues on the office, not maintenance. If it isn't on the work order, it won't happen (or in this case, not happen). I'm still waiting on some requests. It has been a month. I'm waiting, waiting, waiting. This is sad as this used to be a wonderful place to live. Now, more and more tenants are loud, inconsiderate of neighbors, and sloppy...leaving bags of trash outside their apartment doors.

I have to agree with the above response. When I moved here in October 09 things were good. James helped us out a lot. If something needed to get fixed it was done within two days. Now, it's a joke. The maintenance guys are pretty cool about it, but unless you tell the staff to do something and write it down it probably won't get done. The gym is a joke. The laundry facilities are even worse (I finally bought my own.) Let's see, what else? Noise level isn't too bad on our side. I can hear the neighbor pee and flush in the middle of the night, so I'm sure he can hear me too. Neighbors aren't so friendly, but then again, I'm not Mrs. Rogers. Oh, and how can I forget the trash. Yes, someone left bags of trash on my door because I was taking boxes out as we got the nursery ready for the little one. I just picked up the bags and left them on the curb hoping some dog would come and spread it all over so that we can see who the culprit was. But dogs are apparently well trained around here. Now, if only their owners would pick up after them.
