My girlfriend and I just moved into Highland Cove a couple of weeks ago. They are definitely not the best apartments in Austin, but the price is right and the manager is really nice. Due to credit problems we were having a really tough time finding an apartment anywhere in Austin, but she said she would guarantee us an apartment no matter what our credit was, and she did just that. They even gave us the $99 move in which was excellent. It's hard to say exactly how great the maintenance is at this but though. We told the maintenance guy when we moved in that the A/C wasn't working properly. He came up immediately and figured out it was the thermostat and said he would order a new one... Well, it's been two weeks and he says that it hasn't came in yet... But I guess it could take a while for it depending on where it was ordered from so right now we're just giving them the benefit of the doubt but we'll see...
