I signed a lease for a year back in October and most of what people have written is true. The walls are like paper and if you don't live on the 3rd floor, then you can hear everything. The security gates have worked maybe a total of 15 nights since I have been there. The "woodgrain" on the the cabinets is peeling everywhere because all it is is contact paper on particle board. The carpet had just been "cleaned" when we moved in, but they had gotten the berber too wet and lifted up even more dirt to the surface. Everyday, the bottoms of our feet would be black, which left footprints in our showers as well. They told us to wait a week and vacuum everyday before they would call out the cleaners again. The shelves in the closets suck. My roommate and I both have had the shelving in our closets either come loose or fall out completely. Parking is not as good as the others make it sound. There is never parking in front of my building after 9p. I always have to park down the hill or around the corner. Its terrible! I work on 6th st. and having to walk around an apartment parking lot at 5am is not the best thing in the world. The only good thing is that the price is somewhat reasonable and the location is great, however, you could probably find better.
