MOVE HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED!!

Yes, the good comments that have been made are generally true. The floor plans are great, the common areas (pool, fitness, etc') are for the most part clean and nice.

However, those are about the ONLY things that are good. For almost $700 a month for a 1 bedroom (I think more w/o promos) you would think you wouldn't have to worry so much about being robbed.

Extra $$ for a "greenbelt view" is a nice way of saying, "Pay us more for a greater chance of being robbed" seeing how people actually live in that "breath-taking view."

I don't think there is enough room here to go through it all but here is a short run-down:
1) Robbery - Over 30 REPORTED automobile break-ins in the past year (APD Website)

2) Parking - Be prepared to walk after dark or take a chance in one of the MANY un-assigned covered spaces since they can afford to contract a towing company, which I might add drive VERY slowly "inspecting" vehicles until they notice someone is watching.

3) Office Staff - Nice and helpful, just don't have a problem. The manager actually laughed in my face when I suggested a security guard the day my car got broken into. I believe the words were "HA, we're not here to provide any form of security, this happens everywhere!" Yeah, I guess it does but usually you can find a number or an E. in the name of the street of those places.

4) No Contact Info for Management Company on TCRS website that I can find. When asked the property manager for it the first time, I got an e-mail address.

5) I too noticed pee in and around the toilet after an extended period of being gone.

6) Not two weeks after moving in a pair of shoes came up missing from my 2ND FLOOR balcony. Go figure...

7) Thin walls/ceilings/floors - Can you say herd of buffalo on the stairs' Or, how about "I really didn't care to hear that..."

8) Gates''''' Oh you mean they close. And if they do, how do you open them' Because this clicker sure doesn't do anything.

9) My closet has smelled of animal urine since I moved in even after being "cleaned". Remedy: Get a plug-in. Guess that's why there is a plug near the ceiling in the closet.

10) As did others, one of my track lights fell and broke in the kitchen floor. Can't even remember how long it took to get that one fixed.

11) I guess the door knob turning in the middle of the night was just someone that was lost and decided to see if this was their apartment.

12) My faucet in the bathroom leaked a steady stream for 3 days, and that's after calling the emergency number 2 times. Was left a note saying nothing was wrong.

Ok, I think I have said enough. Be a little worried if you ask a leasing agent at any place that you are going to live what the crime rate is like and you are told "Oh, we can't disclose that information. We don't really know that sort of thing. Contact the police department." UH HUH
