DON'T MOVE HERE!

I've lived here for almost a year now and I will not be renewing my lease. From my experiences living here, I can honestly say that the rent is too much for what you get. I pay $1075/month for a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment that is 700 sq. ft. First I'll tell you the good things about this place: the grounds are kept up nicely, the clubhouse/pool area is nice (no hot tubs though!), it is VERY quiet here, and the outside of the apartment complex looks nice. However, in my opinion, the appearance of the apartments' interiors are eyesores. It is very easy to see that when this place was built, they used the cheapest materials they could find. The kitchen is ugly. The cabinets were not sanded down on the edges and can easily cut your hand if you aren't aware of it, the cabinet tops are covered with cheap looking formica that looks like it would have been popular in the 60s, and the painting was done very sloppily because you can see splatters around the bottom of the cabinets. The living room/dining room area is very dull looking. Everything is stark white. The carpet looks old and worn and cheap. Same goes for the bedroom. The closet is OK but could be bigger. The bathroom is small, the painting was done pretty sloppy in there as well. With the exception of the closet, there is absolutely no storage available. This place tries to lure you in with keeping up the outside appearance and are very nice and helpful until you live here...then it is a whole other story. Don't move here unless you like getting taken advantage of! Don't believe the positive reviews...they were probably all the property managers trying to lure you in anyway...

As the property manager it always concerns me when I hear a resident is unhappy. I would love for you to stop in and speak with me as I hope we are able to find a resolution for you. Were you unable to view an apartment prior to moving in? Thank you for your thoughts and I hope to help. ~Hudson Miramont Manager

IMPOSTER!!. haha. why would you pay $1075/mo for a 700sf apartment then cry about it a year later? sounds like you make too much money to even be serious about this. you work for a competitor don't you? anyone making enough money to afford a $1075 one bed/one bath home definitely isn't bored enough to be on apartment ratings. did you not even bother to look at the inside of an apartment before renting?

in response to jccatx: As a former resident of Hudson Miramont, I am entitled to express my own views. No, I don't work for a competitor. I don't screw people over on a daily basis. All apartment complexes are one and the same. They all screw you over one way or another at some point. I just wanted to express my views, so that people considering a move to this particular apartment complex would be aware of the negative aspects before making their decision. There really is no need to be rude as I was just stating my opinion, but since you were rude first, I suppose that allows me to say this: Get a life! If you have nothing better to do than respond to all the negative reviews about this apartment complex, then you seriously need to get a grip on reality. Frankly, my income is none of your business and isn't relevant to the comments I made in my review. Also, yes, if you must know, I did look at the model, but not the actual apartment I ended up renting as it was still occupied at the time. It was the same floor plan, but the quality of the interior of my apartment was inferior to the model. Any more questions? Seriously, get over yourself. Who signs your paycheck? Hudson Miramont's manager? Quit being her attack dog.
