Good 2-year experience

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I'm moving out of Hunt Club after two years, but only b/c of my luck of having a friend with a house on the lake needing a roomie.
Good, pleasant experience, no real problems:
Good:
- washer & dryer in every room (you'll appreciate how barbaric coin ops are).
- Raquetball courts! How cool is that'
- Quite spacious & good layout for the price.
- No Security gate (I like that; they're annoying and not needed in this neighborhood, as far as I've ever known).
- Great park, with 5 miles of running/walking trail just around the corner. Spent much time there, will miss it a lot. The park and neighorhood sidewalks make for great walking and running.
- Seldom any noise pollution problems.
- Good-sized den/home office room in my unit layout; unusual and really neat.
- Safe neighborhood. I'm often outside walking or stargazing at 10:30, 11:00 at night; have never felt in the slightest bit threatened. Plus, a fire station is right across the street (just in case).
- Maintenance guys never narc'd on me for having a cat without paying the pet deposit!
Not as Good:
- My A/C was problematic for first year, and it took many servings before it was permanently fixed.
- Units are about 20 years old. Adequate, but not as clean and modern as some new apts.
Summary: I've lived a lot of places; this is one of my favorites. I'd happily return in the future, if I'm not blacklisted once they figure out I've had an undeclared cat.
