The Hunt Club is not a terrible place. Every apartment I've lived in had it's problems. Wells Branch is a fabulous neighborhood. I really appreciated the Hunt Club's location. It had great access to everything. And for the rent I paid I have no reservations about my stay there.
The staff is nice enough. Sometimes it does seem like they try to give you that feeling that they want to own you as well as your lease. A couple of them are really cute, though. They usually have someone within a couple days come to fix maintenance requests.
I will admit that there were lots of dogs who do their business wherever they please.
During the day the neighbor children are loud and rambunctious, but what complex - besides retirement homes - doesn't have kids.
The hot tub is disgusting. It always smelled horrible. I've seen guys dripping sweat go straight from their workout to the hot tub.
The workout facilities are mediocre.
The raquetball facilities are fabulous to have.
Honestly, my biggest complaint ever was the speed bumps.
If you are looking for the best deal for your buck - RENT HERE. If you want to pay an extra 100-200 bucks because you want to live somewhere new with many of the same problems - go for it. I'm the type who likes to keep the extra cash.
