I really liked this place for the first 3 months I lived there. The staff is generally okay and move-in was smooth. HOwever, you can be fooled by the neighborhood, which looks really nice. I did not anticipate a problem at all.
In August my friends car was broken in to and everything in it taken.
IN October, a woman was SHOT by her ex bf directly outside my window. Since then my eyes were more open to the crap that is that place. It has gone down in just the 6 months since that. My building, at least, is very loud- people yelling in the middle of the night. I do NOT feel safe at all. I lived in the 'ghetto' before closer into Austin and felt safer than I do here.
The parking is horrible and I always have to park way out behind the building by the dumpsters and then walk across the parking lot in dark. I carry mase with me and for a while I carried a knife around with me. I do not feel safe at all and I'm moving out in 2 months when my lease is up.
