I lived there from the summer of 05 to the spring of 06. Being a single woman living by myself I never had any reason to feel unsafe. I know that there are shady people living in EVERY apartment complex, but please, if you don't want to be exposed to it then don't move to a big city. If you are so naive to think that crime doesn't happen in "nice" neighborhoods then you need to pinch yourself and wake up from your dreams. I know for sure that there were people doing and selling drugs, theft and probably anything else you can imagine as far as illegal activity going on during my stay there. But the truth is if you stay aware, keep to yourself, and don't be a busybody you ll be just fine. If you pay attention to these negative peoples reviews you will not even give yourself a chance at really enjoying living here. My electric was NEVER over $60 for my 1 bedroom apartment, there was new carpet and fresh paint when I moved it, the staff was helpful, and it was quiet during the week, and even weekends weren't bad. When I moved out I got my entire deposit back, and never had any real issues with bugs or things breaking down. I've been reading postings from every complex I've lived in here in the Austin area and EVERY single one of them has mostly negative reviews. Funny thing is, every single place that I ve lived I ve been pretty satisfied with, and never felt like I ve lived in a ghetto or gotten bad service from staff. What is the problem with posting a positive comment once in a while' I think if the majority of you would take a small percent of all your negative energy and try to make a positive change we would all be better off. Stop scaring people for no reason and find another hobby. I swear if any of you say I'm staff there I'm going to be disappointed, I really think you need to start getting more creative at making accusations for people posting positive comments.
