We lived here for 3 years, turned our rent in on time EVERY MONTH. We decided to move out slowly so we could clean everything (because we had heard that they stick you with a huge bill when you move out) and stand some chance of getting our deposit back. We had another 2 weeks to finish moving out, when we found out that a cleaning crew had shown up and started throwing our stuff away. We went to the office and they told us we hadn't paid our rent. When we explained we had, and i showed them a bank statement with the rent check on it - they backpedalled. However, a lot of stuff we wanted to take with us was already gone.
Once we had actually moved out they sent us a bill for ANOTHER APARTMENTS move-out fee!! We took it in to them, they apologized and told us they would send us another summary. They didnt for 2 months. So i went into the office to find out what we owed them, and they told us that they owed us some money back, and were going to send a check right out.
Two days later i got a notice from a Collection's agency that we owed them the same amount as the original, incorrect fee. Apparently, they never bothered to fix the original (WRONG) move-out fee, or make any note we had seen them. Or try to get in touch with us at all.
DO NOT RENT HERE, the management is terrible, Some of them may be nice (but not all of them are polite and usually automatically dismiss you as being in the wrong) but they can't get anything done, and they can't help you in any way.
Oh yes, and there are only two dumpsters for 20 buildings and they fill up in a day and then they are locked.
There are not enough parking spots, and only about 10 total visitor spots. Even if the visitor could find your apartment in the enormous maze.
Don't walk on any of the grassy areas, because no one cleans up after their dogs.
I am assuming your water bills includes the sprinklers, which are broken once every two weeks and spend a couple of days spouting water and dirt down the sidewalks non-stop. That would explain a $40 water bill for an apartment.
Lots of noisy kids running and screaming at all hours. The lawn maintenance crew doesnt use lawnmowers, apparently they show up around 8-9 am and weedwhack the ENTIRE lawn area.
It's a big apartment for a cheap price but it's not worthwhile for the amount of time and trouble you'll spend trying to get free of them.

I get woken up at 8 a.m. on a weekly basis with the lawncare people using a leafblower an INCH from my bedroom window. Do they not realize how rude that is?!?
