Having lived here about a month, I know that quality of construction and overall design is somewhat below average. It's the little things:
only one towel rack per bathroom, so it's inconvenient to both the bath and the sink;
rather noisier than I expected on the second floor, meaning that insulation is not what I've experienced before;
only one garbage compactor, which means that it's really overflowing on Monday mornings, so it's hard to dispose of trash properly;
and overall, the apartment design seems odd, with sharply-angled walls so that the overall square footage isn't as spacious as an identically-sized apartment I moved from in another city. There isn't as much pantry/closet space as you would think, and the patio is small.
However, they're priced aggressively to compete with the Alexan across the street, and the other apartments on Little Texas in the next block.
On the plus side, the gates work well, which I haven't seen before in gated communities. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

Also on the plus side, I haven't seen either the pet or bird poop that others mention. In fact, my neighbors seem conscientious about picking up after their dogs.

Birds are all over the city and not just here at Falcon Ridge. We try to take care of this as often as we can; however, there are other items that require more attention such as a clean pool, working a/c units, dripping faucets, etc. Our entire team works very hard here. Construction is a hard one as there is not much we can do about that, but I would say that it is normal to hear your neighbors above and next to you at some point.

I have to agree that insulation is poor in the second floor. Ive lived in several apartments before, I mostly lived in the first floor because I hate going up the stairs. The noise is nothing I have experience before. I can hear my neighbors talking, running, and sometimes water dripping. My neighbor like to wake me up at 7 AM and 2 AM. I thought being a luxury apartment noise will not be a problem but I was wrong. Outside can get noisy also at least in my building. Sometimes I can hear people screaming outside. This place was not what I expected. I regret moving to Falcon Ridge, I wish I could just move my stuff and move somewhere else. The one garbage compactor is a problem... I wish there were more garbage compactors near every building. That would be nice so I dont have to drag my stinky garbage to the front of the complex. I guess no matter how many times you complain there is nothing that the manager can do about the garbage problem or even the noise problem.
