I liked La Mirage, though I only lived there for 3 months. I had an apartment at the back of the property with a fantastic canyon view! The building was nicely designed, and we had no problems with noise. However, driving through the complex when I came home late at night, I noticed some other areas closer to the front could be rather noisy, especially on weekends.

The prices have come down so much in the past years, that it's an excellent deal for the Arboretum. The units are nicer than a lot of the other inexpensive apartments in the area.

Don't live here if you?re a hot tub fanatic, though. I had a friend visit, and she sat in the EXTREMELY hot tub while I couldn't bear the heat and got in the pool. A few days later, she was at the doctor with a bacterial infection in both her legs! It was disgusting!

The other problem I had was parking. I'd spring for a garage if you can afford it, so you know you won't be stuck walking a mile when you come in at the wrong time and all the spaces are full!
