I live here. I can relate to many of the things that people have written here. I renewed my lease here two times because I didn't have the time to look at other places. Each time there was a price increase and that did not please me at all. Especially when I know that new customers will sign a lease with rents much lower than mine, and for the same size apartment.

The staff can be accommodating and can be very moody at times. Rarely are they polite on the phone, especially the manager. I agree with other renters that they are sugary sweet to you until the moment you sign your lease. I find that really surprising because don't you want to get your renters to stay' I would not go so far as to label them as ------- but I can understand why some people just get so angry with the managers of the apartments. I found that the maintenance staff does try to help and are not rude.

The grounds are for the most part peaceful. It is not especially clean or pretty. It is just okay. I find they maintain areas near the entry a lot better in order to attract customers, and do not bother about the rest of the grounds as much. Things such as water, flowers, shrubbery are not maintained to the same extent as in the front.

The pool is not especially clean and nor is the hot tub. The equipment in the gym room is not maintained and several do not function. The laundry rooms are lacking more machines and my items have been stolen more than 2 times. The rate for laundry also has gone up by $.50.

The mailbox has been broken into several times as far as I know. I like the montly mailers that they used to put on each door to inform tenants of what is new at the apt and the crimes in the area.

This apartment is close to the arboretum, and to restaurants, and to the highway and I really like that. If you live here, try your hardest to live away from the highway side, and be prepared to live with the troubles this apartment complex, and the managers give you. It seems as though they don't really care too much about their tenants and keeping them around.

There are deer and they usually appear at night.

All in all, I would give this apartment a bad rating because I have had much better experiences with apartment managers before.
