When I was living there, I would always dread going to the office for any reason because the women who worked in the office just seemed so unfriendly. I never got a smile from them... but maybe I shouldn't expect that, I just got used to the people in other apartment offices being so friendly.
Once I set out to rent a garage from them, and the woman who was going to set up the garage told me she'd meet me at the garage as she was going to ride the golf cart out there. I had no idea where the garage was, but I was a little surprised that she was just going to take the vehicle to the location within the apartments and I was expected to just run after the vehicle or something. When she noticed my confused look, she uncomfortably said "oh, did you want to ride in the cart, too'"
Another time, I went to the office to request maintenance on something, and they told me they needed it in writing. I said "ok, can I write it here'", and they told me to just go home and get a piece of paper to write on or send them an email.
I had never felt so unwelcome in an office. Every once in a while, they have nice people working there, like the agent who got us to sign the lease, but they never last long for some reason.
