Nice place to live

We recently moved to another city but spent 2 years here. Overall, we had more pros than cons. The property has a safe feel to it which is well lit and well kept. We loved our apartment (2bdr 2bath). It is older now and it is starting to get dated but that was not really an issue. We got a great deal because we took advantage of a movi-in special and they did not raise the rent the second year, but if we had stayed longer they would have. The complex was quite for the most part. Our unit was towards the back so it was nice and nature feeling. The gym is really small, and the equipment is old. The office staff changed so much that we had to educate each new person about our lease. They did make alot of mistakes when we looked at our leases so make sure you go over them well. They lost our rent check one time and we had to fight them on it, they left a pretty nasty note on our door saying we had 1 day to vacate the premises, thought that was a little harshs since we had lived there a year and a half and never missed rent. The maintenance was pretty decent. The dumpsters were always overloaded before the trash men came. The gates worked fine most of the time. The parking is a bit tight and hard to find spots sometimes. All in all the location is great, really close to restuarants, the highway access, and shoping. We really miss living there and living in north Austin.
