I lived at La Mirage many years ago, 1999-2001...and it was fine then. My main complaints were that I could hear my neighbors making love every Saturday morning, but they were very enthusiastic. I didn't like hauling my trash to the dumpster but I'm lazy....and I didn't like the fire ants that set up shop on the grass in front of my apartment. I managed to step in them a few times.

The staff at that time were very considerate and easy to deal with, and the rent was very reasonable for what you got. In fact I'm renting somewhere right now that's $300 more a month that isn't nearly as nice. (I'm no longer in Austin.)

Who cares what you think. That was 8 years ago. They actually had decent apartment managers at that point.
